So who is Jack Name anyway? When we first introduced him to you, he was going by Muzz and had just released his debut, Light Show, on cassette. Then he ripped through a set at our birthday party last September when he was going by Fictional Boys. Now with one more name change under his belt, it seems like our boy is all growed up. Just next week the aforementioned Light Show will be released on LP for the first time by God? Records [a Drag City imprint run by everyone’s favorite Mr. Ty Segall], and a few days after that he’ll begin a US tour opening for Dent May, which will bring him to the Stone Fox on February 6. The LP is available from pre-order now through Drag City, and the full list of dates can be seen below. Proud of you, Jack. Real proud.
