We talked about the brand new Woods album – Bend Beyond [Woodsist Recs] – not too long ago when they premiered the video for “Cali In A Cup” which you can check out here. Along with that we made mention of their upcoming trip to our fair city on this Thursday September 27th at Mercy Lounge opening up for The Walkmen. We’re pretty excited about it. We caught their last show in town at The End back earlier this year alongside R Stevie Moore and Jovontaes – and it was definitely worth crawling out of the house for. We know there are lots of other things going on Thursday night [Poetry Sucks! at Stone Fox, GonerFest kickoff, blah blah blah] but we think catching Woods on a late September night sounds pretty awesome to us.
