It’s around the middle of the month, so you know it’s time for a new DEAD AIR. This time around, Seth Sutton [AKA also known as Useless Eater] put together a mix of Memphis rap. It’s sick. He made the whole thing off of tapes he’s gotten over the years. Most everyone is pretty aware of some Memphis rap [like Oscar-award winning group Three 6 Mafia] but there’s probably more underground dirty gnarly rap in Memphis than anywhere else in the country. That’s the truth. From Tommy Wright III to Kingpin Skinny Pimp to Triple Six — you really can’t top that.
