We were lucky enough to make it out to the End earlier this week to see A Place To Bury Strangers. Of course they were great and touring opener Ed Schrader’s Music Beat delivered their own crooked satisfaction, but the stars of the show were hometown riff ryders, Breast Massage. It’d been a while since we’d seen them last, and to be honest their set caught us by surprise. In the live setting especially, they got across their weirdo ’70s couchlock convictions better than anyone else we’ve seen in some time. Hear a taste of it below on “Heavy Metal,” their new single on Too Pure Records. “Heavy metal, it’s the truth. Heavy metal, it’s worth a deuce.” Chase it then, brother. Get the single from Rough Trade here.
