We were beginning to wonder when we were going to hear from White Fence this year, and luckily our wondering can come to a halt. It was announced yesterday that a new LP entitled To The Recently Found Innocent will be released on Drag City Records July 22nd. This will be their sixth album, and it’s the first that hasn’t been solely written, performed, and produced by Tim Presley. Instead, the album was produced by Ty Segall at his home-studio in LA and mixed by Eric “King Riff” Bauer in SF. Looks like White Fence will be doing a short tour with LOOP and will perform at WOODIST FEST ’14. Until they grace us with their presence again, check the recording below of “City Of Fun” from Freakin’ Weekend IV.
