Ladies and gentlemen, Angel Olsen has announced her next record. Burn Your Fire For No Witness will be the Chicago heartthrob’s third full-length; her first since teaming up with Jagjaguar. Now the record doesn’t come out til February 18, but our sweet Angel has graced us with a single and a music video to match. The song is pretty unlike anything we’ve heard from her before. That is it’s short and upbeat, the guitar is electric (distorted too!), and there’s a backing band throughout. Needless to say, sounds SICK. The video is a “suburban fantasy…complete with a Freaks and Geeks-inspired lovers quarrel that ends with the male character physically being hand-scratched out of the film,” says director Zia Anger.
