William Tyler, local hero, works harder than just about anyone we know. Somewhere between owning a restaurant, running a label, making the best records for those reflective nights, and being an all around righteous dude, he decided it was time to make a music video. Enter the video for “A Portrait of Sarah” below. Staring Tyler and fellow local heroes Jamin Orrall and Chris Crofton, the video pays homage to the 1971 classic Two-Lane Blacktop. It features a couple sick cars, some great shots of South Nashville, and a shout out to the Old Grey Whistle Test. Check out the full video below, and seek out a copy of Two-Lane Blacktop if you haven’t seen it. It’s, like, the best thing James Taylor ever did.
It’s also worth noting that William is on tour right now! Check out the dates after the jump, and make sure you go see him if he passes through a fair city near you.
