New York’s Psychic Ills are gearing up for the release of their fourth studio album – One Track Mind – which comes out in a couple short weeks on February 19th from Sacred Bones Records. Since the band’s inception back in 2003, we’ve witnessed the transformation and growth from noisy electronic-ish jams to warmer Spaceman 3-ish vibes. One Track Mind is probably their most straight-forward release to date. You can check out a brand new video for the track “One More Time” below. The album comes produced by Neil Michael Haggerty of The Royal Trux and features artwork by former 13th Floor Elevator-er Powell St. John. Cool. A number of orders from the Sacred Bones site will come packaged with a limited covers 7″ featuring Psychic Ills doing their takes on The Godz’ “Radar Eyes” and Cosmic Michael’s “Cosmic Michael Theme“. Better get on it. They’re also about to head out on a pretty lengthy tour – including a stop over at Exit/In on February 17th – so go and catch them if you can…
