WE CAME TO PARTY

We mentioned earlier in this week’s RUNDOWN that we’re getting a special treat courtesy of our buddies over at the Mercy Lounge/Cannery Ballroom/High Watt compound this weekend. They’ve put together a two nights of gnarly shows to celebrate their 10 year anniversary and the first night features our favorite Bogus Bros. We thought long and hard – and we’re pretty sure it’s been since Record Store Day since their last Nashville gig. That’s much too long for us. They’ll be playing the first night [Friday Jan. 11] at Cannery Ballroom alongside Richie, Tristen, Wild Cub, and more. $10 gets you into all venues for the night – or you can just show up mondo early and get in free [some say the first 250 / some say the first 500] In other JEFF-y/ICat news, the boys are about to head out to Australia and New Zealand for a stint and their counterparts back home are working up a new retail storefront. Makes you think about how crazy a place Nashville is. Write a song in your head, record it in your room, press it to vinyl down the street, sell it out of your house… the American dream. SEE YOU GUYS FRIDAY NIGHT! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MERCY!
