For local show-goers – those are probably some pretty familiar faces up there. And for local flyer-readers – Promised Land is a name you’ve probably seen a lot of lately. For good reason though. The trio [sometimes 4piece] includes the two Scala brothers who are also in Denney & The Jets and one brother who makes a mean fish fry. They’ve been playing in and around town for the last few months – including a stop at Third Man’s Blue Room to record a live single that should see release sometime soonish. Earlier this week they made their debut EP – Stoned Eagle – available for stream and download via their bandcamp – and it’s a solid listen all the way through. You can check it out right here. They’ve got a nice stint of shows lined up for this month – including a slot over at The End on New Year’s Eve [we'll talk more about that one later though] For now – head on over to catch some jams and take a trip to their side…
