A few short months after the release of their third studio LP – Wallpaper Music via In The Red Records – Cheap Time have just unveiled a brand new single on Sweet Rot that’s available now. Sweet Rot Records put out the debut Cheap Time single back in 2007 [The “Spoiled Brat” 7″ with Jeffrey, Nathan, and Jemina on the cover] and now they’re proud to bring this quick cut of glammy powerpunk. You can check out the A-Side – “Other Stories” – off the single below. It’s pretty catchy. Not quite as pummeling or sneering as some of the material on Wallpaper Music – but definitely a direction we’d like to see Cheap Time delve further into. This also marks number 5 in the Cheap Time single series [wasn’t aware we were keeping count, but good to know!] Head over to Sweet Rot and scoop it up now. First press limited to 500 copies.
