Guys – we know we’re beating this one to death and talking about it probably too much – but whatever. We just got a taste of Ty Segall’s new record TWINS from our good friends over at Drag City. It’s the first single off the album called “The Hill” and will be released September 4th. You can listen to it right down there and check out the artwork after the click. It definitely features Mr. Segall in a cleaned up atmosphere with a group of pretty enchanted background singers. It’s also a good precursor for what to expect when Twins actually drops this October [that 90s grungy sludgy bass tone is particularly gnarly] Anyway – check out the new track and get excited for his next visit to Nashville on September 20th with Thee Oh Sees, Ex Cult, Gnarwhal, Useless Eaters, and D.
