We love to see new labels pop up and put out good music – especially when the people running the labels are as nice as the ones who run Vertical House Records down in Huntsville, Alabama. They’ve just recently unveiled their second release: a pop-packed 7″ from Huntsville’s own Porcharitas. Have you ever had a porcharita before? Apparently it’s a drink consisting of 8 beers, a handle of tequila, and 4 cans of lime concentrate all mixed into a giant mop bucket. That’s kind of what the single sounds like: gnarly and brash and fun. The single was pressed in a run of 500 [the first 100 on white exclusively for mail-order and at the Vertical House store front] so get on it quick! Check out a taste below…
