THE CLEAN
If you read our posts around here often enough – then you probably know how we like a good reissue. Not to say that we don’t love finding OGs – but sometimes it’s nice when you can snatch up a copy of a record to listen to until the day you finally find that OG copy. The guys at 540 Records are about to help us out with some of that when they reissue The Clean’s Oddities 2xLP in a week or so. 540 Records is run by the same guys that bring you Chaos in Tejas every year – so that alone is worth your support. Oddities was originally a cassette release from Flying Nun compiling lots of alternate takes and demo versions of songs along with the band’s more experimental material. Not exactly the easiest record to digest if you’re expecting classic pop Clean – but definitely a worthy addition to our collection. Get stoked!
