We’re excited and honored to announce that we’ll be putting together a show for our good friend Daniel Pujol to celebrate the release of PUJOL’s debut United States of Being [via Saddle Creek Records] If there’s anything in Nashville that has been “a long time coming” – we think it is undoubtedly the arrival of this record. We’re partnering up with the guys at Poetry Sucks! to bring a show with lots of our favorite local bands and some of our favorite local poets – and we hope you come and enjoy both worlds. PUJOL will be joined by Natural Child, D. Watusi, and Fox Fun at Club Roar [located in Berry Hill] along with readings between bands from Whit Smith, Sean Landis, Chet Weise, and more. Time to get groovy, guys. It’s hard for us to pinpoint exactly what we’re most excited about with this show: album release? it’s cheap? it’s all ages? it’s in a sick space? it’s gonna be super fun? Probably all of those. PUJOL also just debuted another track from the record today on Spinner. You can check out the entire write-up right here and listen to the song below.
