We’ve yet to make any big mention of this show and we’re sorry about that. This Sunday the guys at Cirith Ungol are bringing one of the best punk bills we’ve seen in a little while to Nashville. They’ll be welcoming back Double Negative from North Carolina along with Massachusetts rock and rollers – Hoax. It’s going to get wild. Since we’ve talked about Double Negative a few times here on Nashville’s Dead – we’re going to primarily focus our excitement around Hoax coming to town. They released their demo back in 2010 and had their debut 7″ released from the guys over at Deranged and Katorga Works. The band also features members of Aerosols who you may have caught at Glenn Danzig’s a whiiiiile back. It’s pretty gnarly. There’s a pretty sick video of them posted below and around the 0:48 mark you can see the singer go for fisticuffs followed quickly by some balcony-dive action. Leather Nightmare and Haldol round out the local side of things for the bill – so get there early and get ready to pack in. Just a heads-up – when these guys say 7PM, they mean 6PM – so be ON TIME!
