If you haven’t been in a coma or living under a rock for the last few months – then you’re well aware that Natural Child have just released their second album – For The Love of The Game. The Burger boys and girls released it digitally a few weeks ago so your ears may have already popped their Love-of-The-Game cherry – but we’ve been patiently waiting to hear it on wax and now we can. We can only assume that from here on out we’ll be getting a new Natural Child record every 4/20. Sounds good to us. This new LP has the Children furthering their country stylings that you picked up on in 1971 and maturing as you’d might expect [although not maturing too too much – there is still just a butt on the album cover] This release also marks Natural Child’s jump over to Burger Records where we should see some more material coming from soon. They’re currently out on the West Coast supporting their new record, but they’ll be home in a couple weeks and playing a show on May 12th at The Zombie Shop with Birdcloud, Richie, and King Karl.
