Looks like we weren’t the only ones who fell hard for the recent Tronics reissue from What’s Your Rupture!? [which you can still pick up right here] San Francisco’s Sic Alps have a brand new 4-song EP prepped for release from Drag City called Pangea Globe that has Mike Donovan covering some of Ziro Baby’s DIY pop gems. You can head on over to the Drag City site to listen to some clips and go ahead and get your pre-order in. It hits the streets a little later this month on April 24th. If you’ve slept on picking up any of Sic Alps’ last few releases from DC – you oughtta play a little catch up and get with it. Last year they released 3 different singles with them [Breadhead, Battery Townsley, and Vedley] as well as a killer full-length [Napa Asylum] If we’re lucky enough, maybe we’ll get Mike to roll through Nashville and we can all get sic together… Check out the Tronics track “Shark Fucks” below.
