We’ve just entered the fourth month of the 2012 year and we’re pretty sure we’re about to go ahead and crown a record as being “one of the best this year” — and that’s being well aware of the fact that we’re getting new records from White Fence, JEFF the Brotherhood, PUJOL, William Tyler, Ty Segall, Useless Eaters, Ex-Cult, and many more. Cheap Time’s third studio effort – Wallpaper Music – is being released on May 1st via In The Red but you can pre-order it now right here. It’s a full throttle non-stop record that has us seeing Jeffrey Novak and co. channeling themselves to a place you might not thought capable – and bringing about their most solid release to date. To celebrate the release of the new record, we’ve put together a little party for them going down on April 20th at The Zombie Shop. Timmy’s Organism will be in-tow as well as D. Watusi and maybe another band [we’ll keep you posted on it] It’s going to be a full-blown party though. The director of the Wallpaper Music promo-video, James Cathcart, will be on the decks all night spinning records. And the best part? It’ll only run you $5. Fuck yeah.
