Little Queenie

There’s only one Little Queenie in our books, but it looks like we’ll have to settle and make some room for these dudes. The guys over at Sweet Rot just released a brand new 7″ for the Oaklanders featuring two brand new tracks — “Blackout” and “SS Shipwreck”. You can check out the A-Side at the bottom of the post. This is Little Queenie’s debut release so let’s get to know them a little bit. A 4-piece band [2 basses, drums, and vocals.... Yep, no guitars] from the bay area in California comprised of ex-members of The Gris Gris, Battleship, and Short Eyes. This single was recorded and put together by Mr. Greg Ashley and it’s limited to a run of 300 [Sweet Rot's smallest press yet] So you’ll probably want to jump on it pretty quickly.
