We couldn’t find a picture of Atlanta’s COPS, so we just decided to use an old photo of some of the ATL’s finest. After hearing about Atlanta’s latest supergroup hardcore band for a little while now — we’re stoked to finally be able to check out some jams. The band features Jesse [Gentleman Jesse] Greg King [GG King] and Ryan Bell [Bukake Boys] If that’s not a recipe for some sick twisted jams – we don’t know what is. Their demo tape came out not too long ago from Scavenger of Death and you can check out a track from it at the bottom of the post. They have plans to release a 7″ sometime in the near future courtesy of Rob’s House Records that’s said to be a “more focussed” attempt. Not sure what that’s supposed to mean and don’t really care. The demo cassette is gnarly and abrasive in a way that you might not think Jesse is capable of doing, but we’re glad he does. It also features a cover of Christian Death’s “Spiritual Cramp”… Check out “I’m Tired & I Wanna Go Home” below…
