The Penetrators

Our DC buddies over at Windian Records just announced some of their plans for the early parts of this fresh year and it’s looking like we can expect some sick reissues along with a few new jams. On the reissue table, it looks like they’ll be forking over a reissue of the classic Teenage Lifestyle 7″ from The Penetrators. The single, originally released in 1979, has more than withstood the test of time and we’re glad to get our hands on it [Slovenly also did a Teenage Lifestyle 7″ a while ago — but it was a different version] On top of that, it looks like they’ll be releasing The Penetrators Kings Of Basement Rock Vol.2 later this year. Sick. They’ve also got a 2xLP coming from The Bizarros, featuring prereleased material, live cuts, unheard demos, and just about anything else the band had to offer. And a Record Store Day single from The Testors where they’ll reissue the bands debut 7″ along with an unreleased track from the same recording session. You guys str8 killin’ it! On the “new” table, they’ve got a brand new LP coming for San Diego’s Spider Fever and a new LP for Two Tears. Sheesh, fellas… make our hearts go pitter-patter a little harder, why don’t ya? All releases are slated for early 2012 so keep your eyes peeled and scoop ’em quick!
