After a few months of playing around town, D. Watusi is getting ready to hit the road for the first time. They’ll be doing dates around the Eastern parts of the US with our other favorites, The Paperhead [You can check out all their dates together after the click down there] But before they head out, D. Watusi are gonna be doing some shows around town and releasing a brand new single on Cass Records. That’s the artwork for it below. The single features two instrumental songs — one a slower almost waltz-y kind of song that has Walker Mimms of The Paperhead on lap steel guitar and another track that’s a total blown out rock surf jam that has Ryan Jennings [also of The Paperhead] playing sitar. You can check that one out down there, too. We already mentioned that they’ll be playing the Sebastian Speaks show at the VFW Hall on July 8th, but they’ve also just setup a nice in-store at Grimey’s New & Pre-Loved a couple days before they head out on July 12th. Be sure to catch them before they head out! And pick up the single when it’s out there!
