The other night at Soul Clap, between all the bottle-breaking booty-shaking and prize-taking, our buddy Jonathan Toubin [who DJed some of the best shit we've heard in a bit] hipped us to a newer guy in the Cali area that’s making some pretty sick jams. Nick Waterhouse hails from the San Francisco and has been putting out what sound to be like modern versions of sick old Elvis Costello-R&B-soul jams. He’s only got one single under his belt right now, courtesy of PRES Records, and it’s a doozy. The first press of 500 have all ready sold out, but a repress of 200 is on it’s way so be sure to not sleep on it. You can check out the A-side to the single, “Some Place,” below.
