This is probably the best news we’ve gotten all day [and we got some pretty good news earlier, so that’s saying a lot] For Us Records is reissuing the debut 7″ from the legendary Kleenex. Not only that, but they’re offering special limited colored vinyl and hand colored sleeves for those who pre-order. You probably want to jump on that. The single originally came out in 1978 on Sunrise Records in Switzerland and was shortly thereafter picked up by Rough Trade [RT-009] Alongside the Slits and the Raincoats, these girls were probably one of the most seminal bands in the feminist art-school punk scene. Dolly Mixture were like rock and roll garage girls with class. In the vein of the Shangri-Las, but a little harder to grasp.
