Before we get all freaky deeky, let’s give you a little update on something we’ve been putting together for the weekend… WE’RE GONNA HAVE OUR OWN LITTLE POP-UP SHOP FOR THE FREAKIN’ WEEKEND!! We’ve teamed up with our favorite bebes at Local Honey and we’re gonna be operating out of the upstairs from Thursday March 3rd – Saturday March 5th. You’ll be able to snag some records from Nashville’s Dead, Infinity Cat, Third Man, Turbo Time, Baby Don’t, and some others along with photo prints from Bekah Cope and Emily Quirk and Freakin’ Weekend posters. It’s gonna rule! We’ll be jamming on records and drinking free sodas [and booze for the 21+ers] More details to come about it, but just wanted to give my favorite the heads up. Back to Freaky Deeky though, D. Watusi are one of our favorite newer bands [duh, we’re putting out their debut 7″] We got them to stop by Glenn Danzig’s and do the live thing for us and they kill it. It’s a new unreleased track called “Run Ahead”. Get stoked and catch them March 5th at The End alongside Slammers, PUJOL, Heavy Cream, and Ty Segall…
