I know we talk about So-Cal bands pretty often around here, but despite School Jerks’ early 80s southern Cali-punk sound, they’re actually from Toronto, Ontario. The dudes have got a killer 7″ out on Riff Raff Records [It’s one of our favorites from the year] and have another one slated to come out before 2010 on Cowabunga! They’re about to head out on a quick 10-date tour and, duh, Nashville is one of their stops. They’ll be playing Glenn Danzig’s House on December 16th with The Cannomen, The Crumbs, and another band to be announced later on. Get stoked!
