Jack Oblivian [Yes, from The Oblivians and Goner Records] has another band called Jack Oblivian & The Tennessee Tearjerkers. They put out a new LP, The Disco Outlaw, earlier this year on Goner [duh] and it rocks and rolls along the rockabilly-honky tonkin’-punk-bluesy-raw traintracks. They’re hitting Nashy on Wednesday night [Nov. 25th] and to insure that they’re won’t be any babies at their show that they’re too old for, it’s gonna go down at The Basement.
