"IF THERE WAS A SCENE, I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT IT"

Since there isn’t too much going on tomorrow night [unless you’re a Toadies fan] we highly suggest heading over to The Belcourt to see Eileen Yaghoobian’s Died Young Stayed Pretty. The documentary highlights the creativity-juices seeping from today’s top poster designers. And it really shines light on a scene that most are hardly aware of. We’ve always been poster enthusiasts [Flatstock is always one of our favorite things at SXSW] and last Hannukah mom and dad got us a copy of this book. So it’s pretty understandable that we’d be stoked to catch this film. The poster above was done by Ron Liberti [what a babe] who’s work is featured in the film as well as the works of artists like Keith Herzik, Nashville’s Bryce McCloud, and Darren Pasemko. Not only that but Eileen will be in attendance herself! Check here for a more in-depth analysis of the flick and below for the trailer.
