CHUGGING LOVE

In a year where we’ve seen PUJOL’s catalog almost septuple [since last July, PUJOL has released at least seven singles and a Live LP] it’s hard to imagine that the guy could have the material to put out anything else this year. But then you remember that Daniel Pujol is Daniel Pujol and it’s totally possible. With that in mind, his album - X File On Main Street will finally see release a couple weeks from now on June 14th. The album will be released by Infinity Cat digitally on iTunes — so get your credit cards ready. No word on if there will be a physical release or not. We’ve seen three singles come from the X File sessions though: Bonedaddy 7″, Angelbaby 7″, and How High 7″. In a press release regarding the album, Daniel states that all the proceeds made off the record will go straight to the recording studio at Rocketown. Let the rock and roll grow! This is the second release we’ve seen Pujol bridge the gap between art and community. The first being the Bondaddy 7″ [which you can still snag around town at Grimey’s or Wild Cow] The release also cites that this record is dedicated to Kyle Hunter of Nameless Cults and Colby Landis of Modern Hell – two people who Daniel met through Rocketown and has grown with in our scene. We can’t help but think that what Pujol is trying to get across with this record is that it’s important to have places like Rocketown and to start bands and to do things how you want and to facilitate growth within our community. Gotta grow. PUJOL have two more LPs lined up for release sometime soon, TCB247 and United States of Being. Be on the lookout.
