We got our first taste of the fall this last week, and that’s just fine by us. Time to put on a cardigan, dust off your Kinks records, and ask your mom for her chili recipe. If you want to think of it this way, fall is sorta the summer’s death rattle. It’s one last chance to hang out before the weather gets too brutal and your friends get too boring (see: winter). You’ll have a couple chances to squeeze in some quality hangs this week. There’s a killer show early tomorrow evening at Fond Object with the Wrong Words, JP5, OGG, and Study Hall. Later that night Shocked Minds and Natural Lion (Natty Child reggae edition) will be playing at the End. Lastly, Screaming Females and more will be appearing at the Stone Fox on Saturday. Right on, mother autumn. Get to it.
