Back in February, we were lucky enough to catch Angel Olsen at Club Roar. Without gushing too much, let’s just say it truly blew our minds. In the live setting, she’s like a female Roy Orbison. On record, she’s got a bit more of those folky vibes. Both slay. We were happy to receive double good news from the Olsen camp the other day. First came word that she just signed a deal with Jagjaguwar, so we should be able to expect another release soonly. We didn’t even have a chance mind the wait because it was also announced that her debut EP, Strange Cacti, had just been given a limited repress by the fine folks at Bathetic Records.
