Like we mentioned a minute ago in this week’s Rundown – The Spits will be back in Nashville for the first time in a good while when they hit the stage at Exit/In tomorrow night. Last year they released their fifth self-titled studio album through In The Red Records and it stays true to the space mutant punk you’ve grown to know and love on their earlier records. They’ve decided to hit the road this Fall with OFF! and it’s taking them all over the place – including stops at GonerFest and FunFunFun Fest. Unfortunately for us – they won’t be teaming up with OFF! until mid-October, so we won’t get that tomorrow night. We will however get a nice pit-stop visit from our favorite Useless Eaters and a showing from newer band on the block – Psychic Hotline. Gonna be a party for sure.
