This year has been pretty enveloped in anticipation for White Fence releases. We got Vol. 1 of his new double LP Family Perfume [Woodsist] a little while ago and it’s been spinning pretty non-stop around here. So much so that we’re about ready to flip for the release of Vol. 2 – which will see light on May 15th. There have been a couple tracks made available for preview off this second portion of the album – and you should check them both out. First comes “King of the Decade” which has Tim doing what he does so well in crafting paisley melodic psych pop. It’s a jam we could see fitting on his last record – Is Growing Faith – pretty nicely, check it out here. The latest track – “Be At Home” – you can check out at the bottom of the post. It fits in the Presley-aesthetic but also has White Fence venturing into some cleaned up vocals with more space sounds. We’re sold. White Fence will be coming to town in a little less than two weeks with Ty Segall at The End on May 21st. If you haven’t noticed – we’re pretty excited.
