FERGUS & GERONIMO

If Denton, TX isn’t one of the best cities going right now, we don’t know what is. It’s home to a handful of our favorite bands like Silver Shampoo, Bad Sports, VIDEO, Wiccans, Wax Museums, Bleach Boys, and these guys – Fergus & Geronimo. Yes, most of those bands are comprised of the same 8 or so guys, but whatever. We first heard Fergus & Geronimo on the Denton Denton USA comp from Play Pinball! a while ago, but they just had their debut LP come out on Sub Pop subsidary Hardly Art and it’s pretty sick [Hardly Art’s killing it this year so far — this record + Hunx new record + new JBoys record. Dayumn] They also just put out that video you can watch down there for the track “Girls With English Accents” They’ve been all over the place since the beginning of the year and they’re not about to stop. As soon as they get done doing the SXSW thing in Austin, they’ll be making the rounds around the nation — including our fair city of Nashville. Check it!
