Last week we were a little lacking in the posts department because we were all over the place trying to make things as freaky as possible. Our deepest apologies. We figured it’d probably be best to do a little recap of the things we haven’t talked about yet. So here goes…
Our favorite Atlantians made announcements last week about their upcoming full length, titled Arabia Mountain, that should see release in June from VICE. They also debuted a little sneak peak video for one of the tracks that they filmed on the Bruise Cruise called “Go Out and Get It”. The video features lots of beach party and some Vivy Gals and blah blah blah. Check it out below. They’re on tour soon with Vivian Girls across the nation [Sorry, no Nashy date….. yet]

Ty Segall was just in town this weekend [duh] and played the best show that’s happened in Nashville in the last decade. Seriously, if you were there then you know it’s true. We’ll have tons of pictures and stuff coming later this week. A little bit ago Ty announced his new record, Goodbye Bread, would be released via Drag City on June 21st. We couldn’t be more stoked. Check out a video of Ty doing a solo rendition of the song “Goodbye Bread”
Ummmm what else? Bass Drum of Death are now signed to Fat Possum. Jacuzzi Boys announced their new full length will be released via Hardly Art. Cheveu and Cola Freaks are both coming to the US this May. Blah blah blahhhhh we’ll talk about all this stuff later.
