We mentioned in our big post about 2k11 releases that The Dirtbombs had a new record coming out and today’s the day it sees the light. Party Store, out on In The Red, is a pretty outstanding thing to behold. It’s basically a follow-up to their Ultraglide In Black album, taking the idea of covering classic Detroit jams and this time applying it to the techno and dance songs of the 80s and 90s. What’s even more insane is that it’s a triple LP. Including a 22-minute version of “Bug In The Bassbin”. Geez. You can scoop it from In The Red or around town.
