We know we’ve said it a couple times on here before, but Jeffrey Novak has seriously got to be one of the most productive people we’ve ever met. Just a few months ago, the second Cheap Time full length, Fantastic Explanations and Similar Situations, was released on In The Red. Then the live – demos – radio session bootleg LP. Then a few short months later, we got word from our buddies at Trouble In Mind that Jeffrey would be releasing a solo 4-song EP, and now we see this video promoting Jeffrey’s second solo LP, Baron In The Trees, which is slated to see release from In The Red. Dude is killing it. Jeffrey’s first solo effort, After the Ball, was released on LMN Records and is pretty awesome. The video below, directed by James Cathcart and edited by Zack Hall, is for a track called “Here Comes Snakeman” and it’s easily our favorite video we’ve seen in the last year or so. Check it out and get stoked for the full length..

Jeff is indeed killin’ it! TiM Recs EP coming out on March 22nd! It rules too!
Awesome! Same for The Paperhead LP?
TiM, we love you.
Yep Paperhead LP/CD will also be released then too – It is also (surprise) GREAT!
Don’t wanna be “that guy” with nitpicking….but…. I’m pretty sure his first record was called “After The Ball.” Regardless, that video is great, and I can’t wait to hear Jeffrey’s new stuff.
Don’t worry about it. We appreciate you being that guy. We made the post pretty late when we were probably not in the sharpest state.
