Weird. This is the biggest disparity between weekday and weekend that we here at Deadquartersâ„¢ have seen in quite some time. Oh well – tonight rest up, do your laundry, blah blah because the week picks up quicker than unwarranted Nashville rent increases ;0) Digable Planets plays a sold out show at the Exit In but it honestly would be worth sneaking in. Earlier the same night, Third Man has a Light and Sound Machine screening to whet your whistle before the Belcourt re-opens on Friday (!!). Then, Friday oh Friday, D. Steine is moving to NYC so there’s a big ole show at Queen Ave to send him off including Dr. Pepper Blues Band and HOUND from Philly and Circle K. Then Saturday, the dumbest day – Laffing Gas in town plus Soft Junk Records launch party plus Diarrhea Planet @ Elliston Street Street Fest plus the Gotobeds plus aghhh too much and some of us picked the worst weekend to be outta town but whatever gotta support your friends from Boston too. Confirmed to have fomo so please go and take pics.
