Alright Young People, it’s time for the next installment of Freakin’ Weekend news. We are finally ready to unload the full line-up on ya, and we’re pretttttty stoked on what’s in store. There’s will be a handful of old faces with quite a few new ones as well, but more on that after the jump. In addition to the full line-ups, we also have tickets for individual shows now for available. Read on to peep the good news…

PERFECT PUSSY
SLAMMERS
AT THE END

Ticket link
The weekend will start off strong with festival mainstays Slammers. Cy dressed up as Altamont Mick when they kicked off the festivities last year. Who knows what they’ll do this time around. Next is Perfect Pussy, a ragtag group of punkers from Syracuse who have been getting all sorts of attention lately. Following them is local fave D. Watusi, and after that will be one of our personal favorites, Mr. Jack Name. By this time, Jack will have his debut LP out and will have been on the road for a solid month, so he is sure to deliver. Cincinnati’s Tweens will also play, still fresh off of their recent tour with the Black Lips, and our #1 mushy gushy brain boy PUJOL will close out the night. This will be his first show in Nashville in many months, and our dude will be rearing up to release his next LP on Saddle Creek. Watch out y’all.
FRIDAY MARCH 7
DIARRHEA PLANET
TURBO FRUITS
HUNTERS
CY BARKLEY & THE WAY OUTSIDERS
FOX FUN
DELUXIN
AT EXIT/IN
18+ – $15
Ticket link
On Friday, the party will surely floweth over as we pack inside Exit/In. We don’t know if you guys have seen Diarrhea Planet play lately, but their sets have kind of become a big deal. This one will be no different. We’re also especially stoked to see Hunters again. After that blitzkrieg of a debut they released last year and tours with Hunx and JEFF, we feel like they’re ready to take over the world, and Exit/In is not a bad place to start. Locals Turbo Fruits, Cy Barkley, Fox Fun, and Deluxin will be rounding out the show. Seems like almost all of these bands have been doing some recording recently, and we hear one of them should have a new single available this night. But we digress…
SATURDAY MARCH 8
NATURAL CHILD
EX-CULT
CHEAP TIME
JUAN WAUTERS
THE PAPERHEAD
LEATHER NIGHTMARE
WEEKEND BABES
AT THE END
18+ – $15
Ticket link
On Saturday, we’re gonna bring all back home by closing out at the End. Things will begin with Weekend Babes and continue on with an ultra rare performance by the ever-amazing Paperhead. Leather Nightmare will bring the hate while Cheap Time brings the hooks. Juan Wauters was just the front man for the Beets, but now he’s gone a broken free of that ol’ old ball and chain. With his debut solo LP just released on Captured Tracks and a tour with Mac DeMarco coming up, you’re sure to be seeing his name much more in the coming months. Ex-Cult are the grand patriarchs of the Great New Memphis, and they’ve rearing up for their second LP on Goner Records. They do no wrong, but they’re all wrong, get me? Closing out the night will be local godfathers of groove Natural Child. This show will also double as the release show for their newest LP, Dancin With Wolves [out next month on Burger], so they are sure to play the weekend out in style.

Again, we’ve still got plenty of information to announce. Pop-up shop, day shows, hangover show, posters, videos, and maybe even a new single just in time for the weekend! In the meantime, how ’bout we all start counting the days now [currently 45]? And don’t forget to get yr tix!
