Cate Le Bon is hardly a new kid on the block. The Welsh-born, LA-based artist already has three records under her belt, the newest of which, Mug Museum, came out last month on Turnstile Records. It’s a psych-laden affair not dissimilar to her previous efforts, but what does set this album apart is that Le Bon has tightened up her sound and zeroed in on the beat. Having Nick Murray from White Fence on drums might do that to ya. Peep “I Can’t Help You” below, and you’ll see just what we mean. Richard Lloyd leads twist and return as the band chugs right along. Pick up the record now from Turnstile if you like what you hear.
