UNDER NO MANNERS

ZIRO BABY

We’ve been nothing but outspoken about our love for Tronics, and since the reissues of their Shark Fucks single and Love Backed By Force LP on What’s Your Rupture? last year, we’ve been waiting in anticipation to see if any other lost gems would surface. It seems our prayers have been answered as M’lady Records has just announced that two new Tronics offerings will be reissued next month. First up is their second LP, What’s the Hubbub Bub. Originally released in 1980 just before the aforementioned Love Backed By Force, What’s the Hubbub Bub has that classic Tronics sound. If anything, it finds itself in even deeper punk [“Shark Fucks”] and weirdo/DIY [“Raw Reggae”] territories than its successor.

M’lady will also be releasing Say! What Is This?, a collection of unreleased and rare recordings made between 1978 and 1983. No word on what the tracks from that will be like, but if Tronics’ back catalog is any proof, it’s sure to be sick. You can go ahead and pre-order both titles here, and check out “Raw Reggae” from What’s the Hubbub Bub below!
