Last year Shannon & The Clams released Sleep Talk and it spent a good bit of time spinning on our table – since then we’ve been awaiting some sort of follow-up and now it’s here. The Clams have put together a nice little singles series spread out between Oakland’s 1-2-3-4-Go! Records, Italy’s Surfin’ Ki Records, and Cali’s Volar Records. You can check out some of the covers below. The first single comes from Volar – a two song 45 featuring “Gremlins Crawl” b/w “White Rabbit” that you can listen to some of at the bottom of this post. It keeps with Shannon’s signature croon and has us thinking that the wait’s been worth it. The next two singles have just been released – both of which featuring the track “Ozma” and Surfin Ki’s with “Angel Baby” and 1-2-3-4-Go!’s with “Muppet Babies“. Don’t hesitate to snag theses as most anything Shannon Shaw & Cody Blanchard touch is instantly gold.
