Sic Alps
One of our favorite records to come out this year is Sic Alps’ Napa Asylum [which you can still snag from Drag City] They’ve had some lineup changes going on for the last little while, but that’s not derailing them from hitting the road and putting out new digs. Founding member Matt Hartman chose to dip out a while ago but Mike D has been keeping things rolling with the help of Ty Segall and Eric Bauer. They just announced their European tour that they’ve got going on for August/September [check all dates below] but they also announced that they’ll have a new 4-song EP on August 23rd from Drag City to support the tour. We’ll take whatever we can get. We’re still working on getting them to come to our fair city sometime soon, but we’ll have to keep you posted on that one, until then…. drug party
