WOMEN IN PRISON
We guess since we’re getting ready for SXSW we’re just feeling some major Austin love lately. Not that you really need an excuse to love on Austin a lot, but you know. Women In Prison just had their debut 7″ released from the bad boys up at HoZac and it’s a killer first single. You might’ve caught their cassette they released earlier this year through Sick Thought Records, and if you did then you know just how gnarly these guys are. It’s like KBD-style mongoloid music. They share a couple members from Total Abuse and Sacred Shock, so it’s really no surprise that they’re good. The single features 3 tracks [one of which you can check out down there] and comes in two different versions: 200 Gold edition with this cover, and 500 standard black with this cover.
